I just spent four days with my amazing mother!!! What a grand time we had in the Texas Hill Country on Lake LBJ! We shared a wonderful fresh catfish dinner, visited while viewing frequent changes in weather on the lake, observed families picking strawberries in the fields, walked through Backbone Nursery—beautiful, ate Chinese food together, drove through the countryside to Wildseed Farm in Fredericksburg, shopped and took photographs of wildflowers at Wildseed Farm, ate delicious chicken Quesodillas in Fredericksburg, listened to stories of times past, shared ideas on archival storage items, and laughed at our pups and just about everything else! My mother is the ultimate DOER and is always active. She inspires me! Here are some pictures of our time together:
