Hemingway’s Women

Our discussion tonight reviewed The Paris Wife, a fictional account referring to one of Hemingway’s great loves, wife-Hadley.
Many of the events in the book are factual, though most of the assumed dialogue is fictional. Following our discussion of this book, I noticed a book entitled Hemingway’s Women, a factual account of the four women in Hemingway’s life, whom we heard about during our tour of Hemingway’s Key West home. Our librarian let me take home an article she found written by Hemingway called A Canary for One. Revisiting Hemingway inspired me to do some more research into his life, as it connects with the photographs I took in key West, as well as the books and letters available through the library.
